Nadia Cheema
I am a Canadian fashion shooter based out of Toronto, Ontario. I started delving into photography about 5 years ago. I studied briefly at Ryerson University enrolled in the Photography Certificate program, which is part of the Continuing Education program. I took about 5 courses and decided that I wanted to shoot more actively so I sought out a studio. Once I was able to work in a studio on a more regular basis I stopped taking more courses at the university. It was the best decision I ever made for myself because I could at that point place all of my energy and concentration on projects that eventually helped build my portfolio. Not only that, but I was also able to develop my style much more quickly. To this day I’m still refining the look and feel of my photographs, but what won’t change is the story and atmosphere that I bring to each image. My work is fused of both fine art and commercial. Giving the images a timeless feel, whether you glance at it once or keep going back to look at it over and over again…..or so I’ve been told. That is what I strive for and that is what I deliver to my clients. Clients range from designers to buyers and onto various magazines showcasing my editorials.
